Dr. Brown

Let me introduce you to Dr. Haylee Brown!
For my ceramic sculpture class, we were tasked with creating a self-portrait of a famous figure who embodies a strong character. And who better to represent my passion for innovation and creativity than the one and only Dr. Emmett Brown from Back to the Future!
Growing up, I was always creating, tinkering, and inventing things, just like Doc. From experimenting with various art mediums to creating cardboard clothing folders or designing a device that could open and close my door to let the dog in and out, I always brought my ideas to life. And now, with this project, l've finally created a life-size bust of myself as Dr. Brown!
This was my first time attempting a bust, and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out. I made it solid, cut it into six pieces, hollowed it out, and put it back together again. The result is a stunning tribute to my admiration for the character and a testament to my creativity and dedication.
